MongoMonitor

MongoDB monitoring solution for iPhone

Connect to your MongoDB databases directly from your iPhone

Are you using MongoDB professionally? Do you you want to check your data even when not sitting at your desk? Are you a developer looking for quick way to check if your data was saved correctly?

In that case MongoMonitor is the right tool for you. Verifying your MongoDB database's status on-the-go has never been easier.

MongoMonitor helps you manage your MongoDB databases from your iPhone

  • √ Connect to your MongoDB databases, supporting single hosts, Replica Sets and shards
  • √ Check your database's status, statistics and indexes
  • √ Navigate through all collections, documents and sub-documents
  • √ View and copy individual data in documents
  • √ Preview files (images, PDFs, and others) from GridFS
  • √ Remove documents from your collections
  • √ Handles mongodb:// links so you don't have to type in long connections
The app is continuously improved and has a regular update cycle. Planned features include queries, editing data, and administrator tasks such as adding (or removing) nodes to a ReplicaSet, adding indexes, or viewing current operations.
  • Browse your Documents

Connect to your MongoDB database and navigate directly through its data. Get an overview of all the collections in the database, go into the documents and the individual data. See the content of all documents including nested documents and arrays.

Supports both portrait and landscape mode for better viewing of big content. Also supports large collections by only loading what is currently displayed.

  • Check Status and Statistics

Check server and ReplicaSet status, view database statistics, indexes. Browse through the documents returned by the database commands you would otherwise run on the console where they can be hard to read.
  • Gestures make it easy to work with your data

Swipe over a document row to delete the document (disabled for production environments).
Holding down the finger for one second on a document entry allows you to copy key and value.

GridFS Preview

See thumbnails of GridFS files directly in the collection overview. When you navigate to the file, you can see a full preview and save that file to your iPhone.

Supports images, PDFs, Office documents, and more.

An upcoming version will also allow you to upload an image to GridFS from your iPhone.
